Nine more communities.
Not every donation is a big one. These nine are smaller, quieter and easy to miss, and together they add up to 392 garments. Each one was a real person asking for help with something specific.
Moruya, Batemans Bay and Narooma Community Health Centres
Three community health centres on the New South Wales far south coast, a long way from the Gold Coast. Tees went to the staff and the people they look after.
RAAF Base Tindal
Sent up to the Royal Australian Air Force base in the Northern Territory. Katherine is about as far from a Gold Coast market stall as our tees have travelled.
4 Voices
A Gold Coast charity working on suicide prevention and youth mental health, named for the four voices they want young people to hear instead of the one telling them to give up.
Kids In Need Association
A Coolangatta charity supporting local children and families doing it tough. They put the tees straight into the hands of the families they support.
A school in Cambodia
A customer wrote and asked whether we could help a school she was travelling to. We sent a box of tees in small, medium and large, and she carried them over.
Healed Tribe
Sent across three separate months, each batch for another of their youth retreats. The kind of partner who comes back because it keeps being useful.
Fierce Females
A small, volunteer run charity supporting women on the Gold Coast. They wrote back to say they had no budget for a partnership and could not take one on. We sent the tees anyway.
Mind Body and Soul Women's Lunch
Tees for the Christmas appeal at the I Love Robina women's lunch, handed out in the goodie bags on the day.
Balranald Central School P&C
A rural New South Wales school running a Christmas raffle. Four tees, which is the smallest donation on this page, for a P&C who told us they were trying to make an impact on kindness.
