Who they are

Paws in the Park is the Gold Coast's dog day out, a community event where several thousand people and their dogs take over a park for the morning. Local rescues, vets, food trucks and small businesses set up together.

It is not a charity in itself. It is the kind of day where local organisations meet the people they are trying to reach, which is why we keep saying yes to it.

What we did

We brought the stall, the dog range, the team and an oversized Instagram frame.

The frame turned out to be the whole strategy. People queued to put their dogs in it, which meant a few hundred photos of other people's dogs went out with our name on them, and we got to talk to every single owner while they waited.

On the day

Why this one matters

Markets are the only time we meet our customers in person. You learn more in one Saturday behind a trestle table than in a month of reading analytics, and you find out immediately which messages people read out loud to each other.
