Who they are

Motherhood Village runs free, in person, peer led mental health support for mothers on the Gold Coast, from pregnancy through the first five years. Around one in five Australian mothers are affected by perinatal mental health challenges.

Their groups are led by women with lived experience and are built to sit alongside hospitals and clinicians rather than replace them. Small groups, trauma informed, and free. Their line is: together, every mother and family thrives.

What we did

We donated 56 garments, then brought a stall to their Family Fun Day and handed back ten percent of everything we took on the day.

It began with a box of faulty stock and a warm email, and turned into a proper working relationship. They came to our warehouse to collect the first lot themselves.

Why this one matters

A lot of our customers buy for someone else who is having a hard year. New mothers are the people most likely to be handed a message and least likely to hear one.
